To get the highest durability out of your Callas, make sure to recut the stems every 2 to 3 days
Callas are light sensitive, they search for the light while in the box. When the stems are a little curved, keep the box closed and store the box upside down in the cooler for a couple of hours. When you unpack, the stems will come out straight.
Note that when the flowers are shipped dry, they may arrive a little limp. They will revive after being recut and hydrated.
Leaving part of the white stem, helps with water uptake and vase life while reducing the chances of stem splitting or curling.
When Calla-lilies are left in bacteria contaminated water, the bottom of the stem will become mushy. Be sure to change the water frequently, preferably every day.
